The expression belongs to the famous Austrian writer Stefan Zweig, who titled a collection of his historical short stories "The Starry Hours of Humanity "(1927). In the preface to the collection, Zweig writes that each fateful event matures gradually, gradually. Out of millions of wasted hours, only one becomes truly historic. It is this moment that " determines the fate of hundreds of generations, directs the lives of individuals, an entire nation, or even all of humanity."

The expression "finest hour" has entered the literary language in the meaning: a turning point, a decisive moment in someone's life, fate or career. Usually in this case, we are talking about political and public figures, military leaders, diplomats and people of creative professions - artists, writers, musicians and artists.
